Estate & Garden Tours

Estate & Garden Tours are offered year round on Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) by advance reservation.
Tours typically last 1.5-2 hours. The cost for the tour is $20 per person, maximum 6 persons per tour.

Tour Redwood Grove and the estate designed by architect Julia Morgan.
The tour covers a brief history of the Benbow Valley, a synopsis of Julia Morgan’s life and impact on California History,
and tracks the changes to the estate over time to architecturally restore the property using local Humboldt County artisans.

Redwood Grove is a smoke-free property.

Certified service dogs on leashes are permitted.

Bottled water is permitted in the house and garden. We regret that the only place where food and all other beverages may be consumed is outdoors. Trash receptacles and recycling bins are available.

Redwood Grove remains a privately owned historic property. You may encounter natural hazards such as tree roots or branches, uneven ground or gravel paths. Please be aware of your surroundings and watch your footing. The path to the river is closed to visitors.

Because Julia Morgan Redwood Grove is a historic, private property, it is not required to be ADA compliant.
